Welcome! Please introduce yourself
My name is Kaisha and I am a brand ambassador manager and natural hair blogger from London. Nice to have you on the blog. How did you get into blogging?
I actually started blogging when I decided to start my healthy hair journey after returning from working in New York. Back then I was relaxed and wanted to take better care of my hair. I wanted an outlet where I could express myself and share my knowledge for healthy hair with others.
"I sometimes suffer from eczema, so when it was time for my relaxer touch up I couldn't always do it"
I think it's so important to share there tips and tricks with each other, learning is a huge part of life. If you were to describe yourself in 3 words what would you choose?
Ambitious, Funny, Out-going
I always think it's ambitious when people step out in faith and start a new hair journey. On this blog we love a good natural hair story...we're all ears. I sometimes suffer from eczema, so when it was time for my relaxer touch up I couldn't always do it. Instead I ended up transitioning to natural. I transitioned for 18 months before doing the big chop. Fast forward to today, I am now 6 months natural and couldn't be happier.
"I feel water really is the secret weapon. When I keep up with my daily water intake, I notice a huge difference in the health of my hair and skin."
Something ive not tried before, quick fire questions - Heels or flats? Headwraps or high puff? Cowash or Clarify? Twist out or protective style? Flats because I can do anything in them, although I do love a good pair of wedges. I'm a low maintenance kind of natural, so headwraps are my best friend. As dryness is a struggle for me, so I tend to co wash more. I haven't mastered the twist out yet, so protective styling is my favourite. I do love box braids and passion twists.
You made that seem too easy girl! Tell us one thing our readers would be surprised to hear about you... I can actually make clothes. I have a degree in fashion so can put a few outfits together.
That one shocked me! We can be buddies ;) Before you go What top tip can you share? It can be hair care, beauty, anything!
