How to guide

To submit your measurements

  • Using a tape measure follow the diagram and ask someone to measure each section for you

  • Horizontal measurements refer to measurements that go across or around the body.

  • Vertical Measurements refer to measurements that go up and down the body

  • Each measurement has a number and a name that corresponds to a number and title below. Fill each measurement in the correct box.

  • All measurements must be taken in centimetres.

Measurements (cm)

Measure round your neck, with the tape resting on your shoulders. For extra room put one finger between the tape measure and the neck. You may check a shirt collar you already own for this size.

Measure all the way around your chest at the widest point. Stand relaxed and breathe out.

Take the circumference of your waist, just above the belly button, make sure the tape is comfortable.

Measure the circumference of your hips you wear your trousers, on the hips at the widest point.

Measure the circumference of your seat at the widest part.

Measure across the back from one corner of the shoulder to the other. Hold the tape measure straight.

Measure around the widest part of your biceps.

Measure comfortably around your wrist.

How slim would you like the ankle of the trousers to be? Measure around your ankle. Please note your foot must be able to fit through this ankle measurement or your trousers will not fit.

Measurements (cm)

To measure your arm length, put your hand on your hip so the arm is bent and measure from the shoulder point to wrist bone. To double check the length, measure the length of a sleeve on a shirt you already own.

Measure from the crotch to the floor.

How long would you like the finished shirt to be?

How long would you like the finished jacket to be?
